Leelee Sobieski (* 10. June 1983 in New York City as Liliane Rudabet Gloria Elsveta Sobieski ) is an American actress and film producer Franco - Polish origin .

life and career

Sobieski's father Jean is a painter , her mother Elizabeth (née Salomon) is a writer and producer.

Sobieski was discovered during an audition that was held at her school in New York City. Since then she has appeared in commercials and on television , followed by her first film roles. She now has her own production company and also works as a film producer.

For her acting performance in the role of Jeanne d'Arc in the two-part television series Jeanne d'Arc - The Woman of the Millennium , Sobieski received a Young Star Award and a Young Hollywood Award for “Superstar of Tomorrow” in 1999. In addition, she received numerous other nominations, including an Emmy Award in 1999 and a Golden Globe in 2000 . She was nominated for a Teen Choice Award in 2000 for her role in Here on Earth . In 2002 she was nominated for a Golden Globe again for her role in the television drama Uprising . In 2009 she received two nominations for the Golden Raspberry for worst supporting actress for her performance in the films 88 Minutes and Swords of the King - Dungeon Siege . In 2012 she was standing next to Max von Sydow in Russian science fiction - Thriller Branded front of the camera. From 2008 to 2009 Sobieski was married to Matthew Davis for the first time . Sobieski has had a daughter since December 16, 2009. Father is the designer Adam Kimmel. In August 2014 she became the mother of a son.
