Jean Sobieski

Jean André Sobieski (born November 15, 1937 in Cannes ) is a French actor and painter.

Life

From 1963 to the beginning of the 1970s, Sobieski was seen in around fifteen films as an actor in French and Italian-produced genre films from crime films to spaghetti westerns such as an invitation to the dance of death as an elegant and self-confident youthful hero; then he turned to painting. He had attended the Sorbonne Academy of Fine Arts in the 1960s, later resided in the United States, and says his paintings "reflected the different sides of his life."

He was in a relationship with the singer Dalida for some time and later married Olga Georges-Picot in 1966 . The marriage lasted only two years. From his existing marriage to producer Elizabeth Sobieski, he has two children who work in the film business, including Leelee Sobieski .
