Luke David Mitchell (born April 17, 1985 in Gold Coast , Queensland ) is an Australian actor and model .

Life

Mitchell began his career in the Australian soap Neighbors . There he played from April 14, 2008 to May 26, 2008 the supporting role of Chris Knight . It was his role as young scuba diver known Will Benjamin in the third season of Fantasy - Youth Series H ₂ O - Just Add Water .

From September 2009 to April 2013 he played Romeo Smith in Home and Away . In late February 2013, he was given a leading role alongside Robbie Amell as John Young in The CW television series The Tomorrow People , which aired on the station from October 2013 to May 2014.

In early 2015, he received the supporting role of Inhuman Lincoln Campbell in the ABC television series Marvel's Agents of SHIELD, with the beginning of the third season, which will air in the fall of 2015, he was promoted to lead actor. At the end of June 2015, the thriller 7 Minutes will be released with Mitchell in one of the leading roles. In 2019 he can be seen as Captain John Abraham in the drama series The Code on CBS .

While filming Home and Away , he met his girlfriend Rebecca Breeds . They announced their engagement on May 13, 2012, and they have been married to each other since January 2013.
