Rebecca Elizabeth Breeds (born June 17, 1987 in Sydney , New South Wales ) is an Australian actress .
Life
Rebecca Breeds attended Sutherland Shire Christian School from Kindergarten until she was 10 , after which she attended St Andrew's Cathedral School . Her career began in an episode of the series Water Rats - Die Hafencops in 2000. She became famous in 2008 for the role of Cassie Cometti in the Australian television series Blue Water High , in which she played one of the leading roles. In 2006 she was a guest actress in this series. After the end of Blue Water High in 2008, she received her first leading role in the film Newcastle . Since June 20, 2008 she played the role of Ruby Buckton in the soap Home and Away . She left the series in 2012.
While filming Home and Away , she met her boyfriend, Luke Mitchell , with whom she has been dating since 2012. They got engaged on May 13, 2012 and have been married since January 2013.
