Nils Nelleßen

Nils Nelleßen , also Nils Nellessen , (* 1971 in Oldenburg ) is a German actor .

Life

Nils Nelleßen completed an acting training at the University of Film and Television "Konrad Wolf" in Potsdam-Babelsberg .

During his training he already played his first theater roles. In 1996 he played the role of Kürmann in the play Biography: A Play by Max Frisch at the Hans-Otto-Theater in Potsdam . This was followed in 1997 in smaller roles at the Deutsches Theater in Berlin in productions by Johanna Schall , for example in In the Thicket of Cities by Bertolt Brecht and in Obesity, Unimportant: Unform by Werner Schwab . In 2003 he played the cripple-Billy in the play Der Krüppel von Inishmaan by Martin McDonagh at the Ernst-Deutsch-Theater in Hamburg .

His career on German television began in the mid-1990s. Nelleßen took on a number of continuous series roles, recurring episode roles and guest roles.

He became better known in 2005 through the series lead role of assistant doctor Dr. Maik Borowski in the television series Alphateam - Die Lebensretter im OP, produced and broadcast by Sat.1 . The ZDF occupied Nellessen from 2006 in several episodes of the series The criminalist in the regular role of coroner Dr. Hildebrand .

Nelleßen also took part in smaller roles in several cinema productions, including in 2002 in Die Datsche and in 2003 in the east-west comedy Kleinruppin forever , both times directed by Carsten Fiebeler . He also played in several short films , including in Roadsperre , also by Carsten Fiebeler.

In 1997 he received an award for the best young actor at the Theatertreffen German-speaking drama students .

Nils Nelleßen lives in Berlin.
