The investigator was a German-language crime series that was jointly produced by ZDF and SF DRS .
General
The series played in Hamburg . The team of investigators consisted of Chief Detective Paul Zorn, his colleague Eva Klaussner and her superior, Detective Director Henning Peters from the Hamburg Homicide Commission . The coroner Dr. Tina Jaeger and the detective inspector candidate Tim Rasch have been part of the team since 2004.
Authors of individual episodes were, among others, Eva and Volker A. Zahn , Johannes Dräxler, Remy Eyssen and Eva and Horst Kummeth . Different directors were hired for the individual episodes.
Five seasons with six episodes each were produced and broadcast on ZDF, with the exception of the last season with five episodes.
