Horst Kummeth

Horst Kummeth (born December 27, 1956 in Forchheim ) is a German television and theater actor , director , screenwriter and children's writer .

Life

Growing up in Garmisch-Partenkirchen , he attended a business school and took acting lessons in the Zinner Studio in Munich, among other places . Horst Kummeth has a classical vocal training. He has two daughters with his wife Eva and lives in Munich.

In addition to his work as an actor, Horst Kummeth and his wife Eva Kummeth have been writing over 80 television scripts for more than 20 years. In some cases he is also the director of their implementation.

Horst Kummeth became known across Germany primarily through the series Wildbach in his role as Conny Leitner, where he played alongside Siegfried Rauch .

He also had a role in the series Forsthaus Falkenau as forest farmer Stefan Brenner.

In 2005 the children's book "Lucius and the demon of perdition" was published, which he also wrote with his wife.

Since the first episode in 2007 he has played the Franconian pharmacist Roland Bamberger in the Bavarian series “ Dahoam is Dahoam ”.
