Sonja Franke runs from one misfortune to the next. At the beginning of the film, she catches her husband red-handed. After that, she will be brought to justice for speeding up. The judge then revokes her driving license. So Sonja has to take the train from Munich to Würzburg to buy wine there. On the train she meets her judge Mayer again. Since there is only one free seat in the dining car, she is forced to sit down at a table with the judge.
Due to a chain of unfortunate circumstances, the two opponents have to continue the journey together. Since the train is canceled, they rent a car from a farmer, but it breaks down after a short time due to a lack of petrol. Therefore, the two are forced to embezzle a moped parked on the roadside. After all, they have to sleep in the same hotel room as there is only one room left. Despite all the hardships, neither of them succeeds in meeting the respective deadlines.
Sonja is late for the wine tasting. So the winemaker sold all the wines he had reserved for them. Judge Mayer cannot keep his appointment as a speaker at a congress either. He arrives at the event one day late. Dr. Boehme still manages to schedule him as a lecturer. However, he realizes that he has switched portfolios with Sonja. He keeps the speech off the cuff, which is well received by his audience.
Sonja goes to Alain Mayer's apartment to give him the folder back. There she meets his son and has to discover that he works as a winemaker. Both agree to work together. In the wine shop, Sonja is visited by the police and confronted about the theft. When Sonja comes home, Heiner is back in the shared apartment after being kicked out of his lover's house. Heiner works as a journalist, which doesn't prevent Sonja from informing him about her new love, as well as the fact that her new love Alain Mayer as a traffic judge does not have a driver's license. Heiner uses this to create a headline for his newspaper the following day. As a result, Alain will lose his post as traffic judge and will have to negotiate theft offenses in the future.
The next day a new headline appears, in this the judge Alain Mayer is rehabilitated. In the corridor he meets Dr. Boehme, who backs him up again, and again offers him the prospect of promotion to the higher regional court. Dr. However, Boehme and his companion want to join Alain's current negotiation. This leads to a showdown, as this is Sonja's trial for the theft of the moped. Now judge Mayer has to admit that he was also involved in the moped theft. He gets up from the judge's desk and kisses Sonja.
At the end of the film they both go to France to visit the hated father of Alain Mayer. Alain urges Sonja to drive faster. The police lurk behind bales of straw, Sonja flashes them in the 30 km / h zone at over 70 km / h and sets off to pursue them. The credits begin.
