The International School for Drama and Acting ( ISSA ) in Munich is a state-approved, private vocational school and as such is eligible for BAföG and scholarships .

The actress Ellen Zinner (born September 19, 1919 † January 2015) founded the Zinner Studio in 1957 . From 1994 to 2002 the facility was run as a Munich drama studio , and has had its current name since 2003. The language of instruction is German, but students from Argentina, Georgia, Greece, Italy, Croatia, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Austria, Portugal, Russia, Switzerland, Serbia, Spain, Turkey, Ukraine, Hungary, USA and Vietnam also completed the training here . ISSA graduates are now involved in many film and television productions as well as various theaters.

The drama school is located in a rented house on Ötztaler Straße in Sendling . A separate theater was built into the building in order to be able to convey practice in the stage area. In the repertoire operation of the theater, productions are shown that are developed from the second year of training. The teachers work as actors , speakers , directors and authors for theater, film , radio and television .

Bernhard Bozian , Marcus Grüsser , Adam Jaskolka , Friederike Lohrer , Mascha Müller , Inka Meyer , Rosetta Pedone , Bela Klentze , Katharina Küpper and Oliver Scheffel , Philip Birnstiel and Darya Gritsyuk have become known as graduates of the school .
