Alexander-Klaus Stecher (* 23 January 1968 in Rosenheim ) is a German actor , talk show host , presenter , author , pop singer and television producer .

Career

Alexander-Klaus Stecher was discovered by Gustl Bayrhammer for the youth radio of Bayerischer Rundfunk , after he was in front of the camera in children's series such as Das feuerrote Spielmobil . He took acting lessons from his future mentor, the actor Hans Clarin , attended the Otto Falckenberg School for a short time and later graduated from the Zinner Studio in Munich . During his acting studies he was engaged on various stages in Munich and in touring theaters. He then got an internship at Bayerischer Rundfunk , where he moderated entertainment programs and began studying journalism in Munich. Since then he has worked as an actor, presenter, singer and as a media entrepreneur and TV producer with his production company AKS-Productions in the television, radio and gala events sector.

On television he appeared in numerous roles in crime series such as Derrick , Der Alte and Siska , and later especially in many Rosamunde Pilcher films. In 1997 he got his own late night show Stecher's Showtalk on RTL television, which he co-produced. From 2000 to 2006 he hosted the daily flirt show Alles Liebe on the television station GoldStar TV from Premiere / SKY Germany . In a monthly special Alles Liebe VIP , Stecher continues to interview prominent guests here. In 2003 he also hosted the daily live program Klatsch-TV on Sat 1 .

From 1991 to 2012, Stecher was head of entertainment for the Munich regional broadcaster Radio Arabella with a daily noon show. There he also hosted and produced a weekly celebrity talk show Caution Stecher! . Since 1998 he has hosted the annual live TV gala Stechers Stammtisch with up to 400 prominent guests. Since 2006, the German Chancellor Angela Merkel has acted as patron several times. Patricia Riekel, editor-in-chief of Bunte , has been his co-host since 2004 . In 2013 he created the TV award Die Goldene Deutschland for SAT.1 as initiator, host, producer and presenter .

With his identical twin brother Manfred Stecher , he started the classic pop duo Fratelli Project in autumn 2006. The debut album Romanza was released on December 8, 2006, a follow-up album under the title Gondoliere was released on iTunes in 2011. In December 2007, Stecher was appointed the “official honorary ambassador of the German SOS Children's Villages”. In February 2009 his first book The Wild School of Life was published . Private life

Stecher grew up in Rosenheim, his father worked in business, his Italian mother was an interpreter. His twin brother Manfred is known as an opera singer. Stecher was married to the television presenter Stefanie Ludwig , with whom he has two sons. The couple separated in autumn 2007 and divorced in July 2010. He has been married to Judith Williams since August 2011 , with whom he has two daughters.
