SLC memory cell

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

SLC memory cells ( SLC short for English single-level cell ) are memory cells consisting of NAND flash exist and each is a bit store (compare multi-level cell ). Only two charge states per capacitor are used here.

SLC SSD storage is significantly more expensive than MLC or TLC SSD storage and is used for write-intensive storage requirements because of its higher reliability.
