Adam Jaskolka (born October 3, 1979 in Zabrze , Poland ) is a German actor , singer and director .

Life

In 1989 Adam Jaskolka moved to Germany. After training as a retail salesman in Bayreuth , he completed civilian service as a caretaker and made up his Abitur . In September 2002 he was accepted for a three-year acting course at the International School for Drama and Acting in Munich . He was able to learn his dream job. After spending five years in Munich, he moved to Berlin in September 2007 .

He recognized his passion for music and acting early on. As a child he played in various theater groups and sang in a church choir . At the age of eleven he took bass guitar lessons and until he was twenty he played in various rock bands , with which he also acted as a singer.

In addition to his appearances on the theater stage ( e.g. as Jago in Shakespeare's Othello ), he is in front of the camera and has been in commercials ( reading circles ), TV series ( Der Alte , Munich 7 ), short films ( Myxos ) and in a small supporting role as Hippie seen in the Baader Meinhof complex . The independent production Sick Pigs had its cinema premiere in 2008. He made his TV debut on ZDF in the Bravo TV Soap . In 2010 he played a supporting role in the Tatort episode Die Heilige . In 2019 he was seen again with the episode A day like every other in a "crime scene" of the BR. As Pavel he appeared in the popular BR series Dahoam is Dahoam in 2012 and 2013 , to which he returned for two episodes in 2017.

As a musical actor he was u. a. seen in Footloose (2005) and Moulin Rouge (2008/2009 on tour in Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Luxembourg). In the summer of 2007 he played the beautiful but somewhat simple-minded Christian in Bergerac's play Cyrano in his home town of Bayreuth . He was also on stage a. a. in Mandragola , Dracula , a state of emergency , Hugo von Trimberg and Death on the Nile to see. Between October 2011 and July 2013 Jaskolka was seen in the renowned Munich Theater for Children .

He made his film directorial debut with the short film An Unexpected Date , in which he also played the leading role. In the theater he staged, among other things, the music theater piece Johann and Johanna B. , the Hansel and Gretel opera and some revivals.

He can be heard on CD on the German version of the musical Footloose and the Original Tour Cast 2009 CD by La Belle Bizarre Du Moulin Rouge (musical album charts number 1, alongside Jesper Tydén and Anna Montanaro ). His debut single Catch (Top 10 in the download charts) was released in April 2011.

In addition to his job, Jaskolka supports many charity projects such as the BR Sternstunden (here he plays with other well-known personalities for FC Sternstunden), deals with the topic of donating blood and supports the BRK , and he also stands up for the fight against cancer a. He is also committed to the UNESCO Children's Foundation, for which he was also featured in a commercial . Occasionally he works as a model in the photography sector. Jaskolka has also made a name for himself as a martial artist .
