Welly Yang
Wellington (Welly) Yang (楊呈偉, born February 13, 1973 in New York City ) is an American actor , playwright and singer of Taiwanese - Chinese descent.
Life
Yang graduated from Lawrenceville School in 1990 and attended Columbia University through 1994. He has appeared on Broadway shows such as Miss Saigon and Aladdin , and has appeared on numerous television shows such as Law & Order: Special Victims Unit , As the World Turns , National Geographic Explorer , and Ghostwriter . Yang is the founder and artistic director of Second Generation , an Asian-American non-profit theater company. He is actively involved in the Taiwanese-American community and works closely with the Taiwanese United Fund (TUF).
