Philip Birnstiel

Philip Birnstiel (* 1989 ) is a German actor .

Life

Philip Birnstiel completed his acting training from 2012 to 2015 at the International School for Drama and Acting (ISSA) in Munich .

Since then he has worked in short films , feature films and various TV productions. His theatrical works include the comedy Safari - Match Me If You Can (2018) and the action film Mission Indestructible 2 , in which u. a. Rocco Stark , Raúl Richter and Tobias Schenke were his partners.

In the TV series Das Boot he was seen in a continuous series role as second watch officer Benno Schiller from November 2018.

In the 13th season of the ZDF series Notruf Hafenkante (2019), Birnstiel took on one of the main episode roles as bicycle courier and medical student Yannick Baumgart, who blackmailed his professor. In the 34th season of the ZDF series SOKO Munich (2019), Birnstiel had a leading role in the episode as director and employee of the “ Münchner Tisch ”.

Philip Birnstiel lives in Munich.
