content
The series deals with the lives of five singles, who all struggle with being single or are not sure what they actually want. In (almost) every episode the narrative perspective changes between the five main characters. There are various overlaps and duplications of the plot, which are reproduced from different perspectives.
The series focuses on the wishes, ideas and problems of a generation that is having a hard time finding a partner. "Maria" (sp. By Lena Meckel ) wants a steady relationship, but mostly ends up with particularly "hip" men who don't want a steady relationship. Womanizer "Amid" (sp. Manuel Mairhofer ) enjoys his free single life. "Lucie" (sp. By Leslie-Vanessa Lill ) leaves her boyfriend after three years of relationship because she is "out of breath". “Caro” (sp. Gianna-Valentina Bauer ) also separates from her boyfriend, who doesn't want any children yet. Only the character "Felix" (sp. By Raúl Richter ) is one of the few characters who mean it honestly with their partner and who can fully engage with another person.

Episodes
Each episode has one (in an episode two) main characters.
1 | Maria: Egotypes are their patterns |
Maria is annoyed that she only ever comes across men who are unwilling to commit. Her friend Paulina advises her to reduce her demands and change her pattern, as she only ever dates extremely "hip" men. These men have start-ups or a craft beer brewery, for example. At Tinder, she meets Amid, who tells her that he could fall in love with her. They both end up in bed, but Amid is gone the next day.
2 | Amid: A woman forever? |
Amid's parents are looking for a wife for him. But he doesn't really want to marry, especially not someone he hasn't chosen. In the further course you can see various ONS and dates about which he comments in the off, how quickly he can land with the women (with a lie) and how nicely he finally dumps them. At the end Maria comes by with his wallet, which he forgot with her. She tells his mother very clearly that she was the ONS, which his mother is uncomfortable with because they have a potential wife for Amid as a guest.
3 | Lucie: Lucie breaks up |
Lucie no longer loves Felix and hates the routine in life and therefore ends the relationship. She's dating someone who wants to find his wife over the smell. It seems a little weird to her and she ends the date. She goes out to party with her friend Aylin to get other thoughts and spontaneously falls in love with the DJ named Manoj. She dates him, posts a photo with him and sees a photo of Felix with another. He kisses her and tells her that he lives and loves polyamorous.
4th | Felix: Felix and the ex-program |
Felix is a little off track due to the separation. His friend Amid points out that Lucie is dating someone else: the guy who tries to find his wife through the smell. He intervenes before he writes Lucie that he wants her back and advises him on an "ex-program" in which he should make her jealous and ignore her. Amid gets him a date with Jaqueline so he can post a photo with her. They find out that Lucie is going to party the same evening and they go to party there too. To celebrate, he takes his patient (he is a dentist) Julia with him, who is supposed to make Lucie jealous. The next day, he made a date with another patient.
5 | Caro: Caro's dream |
Caro is preparing a romantic dinner to ask her friend Stefan if they want to have a child, since everything is fine, both professionally and privately. He denies this and points to a unique opportunity in his job where no children fit into his life for the next two years. She doesn't want that and Stefan moves out. In order to find a new friend and future father of her children, she organizes a casting for a flat share exclusively for men. The men who come, however, all have a catch, which is why she refuses all. In the end, Lucie shows up with her and also applies for the apartment. Since any other option sounds worse, she gets the room.
6th | Maria: Men are like strawberries |
Maria is jealous of her friend Paulina because she has a boyfriend. She tells her that Maria only ever takes the big, crunchy strawberries and not the small, wrinkled ones. She relates this to her choice of men, where she always only takes the big, handsome ones and not the ones with the best character. It is too superficial. She struggles a bit with it. She stops at a strawberry stand and Felix calls her "Lucie". She turns around and dumps her drink on his pants.
7th | Felix: Desperately wanted Maria |
Felix is dating the patient and sees Lucie at the counter. When he speaks to her, it's not Lucie, instead he sees Lucie in almost every woman now. He ends the date and leaves the restaurant. When he supposedly discovered Lucie again, he spoke to her. She (Maria) turns around and accidentally spills his smoothie on his pants. She offers to wash his pants, so he comes to her. Sitting in her kitchen in a bathrobe, he tells her about his ex and she appeases (not quite honestly) that they will definitely get back together and that their interest in him is over. She puts him in front of the door with his washed pants. Amid, on the other hand, criticizes the fact that he spoke of his ex when Felix says that he wants to see her again and only knows where she lives. He simply considers going back to her, but Amid advises against it. Since Felix knows where she goes to yoga, he visits the yoga studio and quite involuntarily takes part in a trial training session. He doesn't meet her there. In the end he decides to go to Lucie's home and meets Maria there in front of the door, but he also "supposedly" sees Lucie.
8th | Lucie: Have you ever tried polyandry? |
Lucie tells herself again that she has narrowed the relationship with Felix too much. She now lives polyamorous, but she doesn't really feel comfortable with it and ends the whole thing very quickly. At the end of the day she goes out to celebrate with Aylin and a few friends and sees Felix standing in front of a door when he is approached by a woman (Maria).
9 | Caro: A 98 percent match |
Caro creates an online dating profile, but Lucie finds her description terrible and creates it for her. She advises her not to tell her true intentions. Lucies' brother, who is supposed to temporarily live in the shared apartment, comes by as a surprise. In the online dating profile, she writes to a man named Hjalmar who seems to be the perfect date. At the end of the date, which went quite well, she reveals her desire to have children, whereupon Hjalmar tells her that he wants children, but ends the date on the grounds that they are too similar. But he still gets in touch with her later via SMS.
10 | Amid: Bridal show |
Amid's parents have another potential wife for him. It is about a friend from his childhood who is divorced and is therefore difficult to place by Arab standards. But he is of no interest to her because he is like her ex-husband, who was constantly cheating. Second, he meets a woman whose best friend he once had a relationship with. The meeting ended quickly. Third, he meets Tasmin, who obviously has just as little interest in her parents' attempts to mediate as he does. He agrees with her to meet for a pretense so that her parents leave her alone.
11 | Lucie: Friend without benefits |
Paulina introduces Lucie to a friend, Jamie, from university. Jamie broke up with his girlfriend Nathalie because she completely restricts him. Both get closer and wanted to sleep together, but he couldn't because of his feelings. Lucie then dates again and finds someone who wants a relationship straight away. However, she does not want this and begins a "friendship plus" with Jamie. When she is considering starting a relationship with him, he meets up with Nathalie again. She is then depressed.
12 | Maria and Felix: When male monkeys want to have sex |
Maria tells Paulina that Felix came to her door and invited her to dinner. Paulina interprets this to mean that he wants to have sex. However, Mary does not believe this. Meanwhile, Amid advises Felix on the subject of “dates”, as he hasn't had anything to be taken seriously for a long time. Felix is accordingly very clumsy when simulating a date with Amid, so that Amid comes to the restaurant to give him advice via SMS. However, Felix also implements this very poorly and inappropriately, so that Maria finally breaks off the date. He runs after her and still finds the right words, but Maria is anything but positive when Amid comes running after her.
13 | Caro: Too perfect to be true |
Caro raves about the last date with Hjalmar and is looking forward to meeting in the restaurant that evening. There Hjalmar confesses to her that he is sterile, which makes her completely stunned. He mentions the possibility of adoption. Since it is out of the question for her, she ends the relationship before it has started.
14th | Lucie: He pushed me away |
Lucie dreams of spending time with Felix and calls him with the reason to pick up her clothes. He pushes her away, however, so she drives Paulina to his apartment. Nobody is there when she rings. 3 days later, Felix reports and she drives straight to his apartment. He gives her her things and makes it clear that the relationship is over and has apparently closed with Lucie. She is then depressed and sad.
15th | Felix: Listen to your heart |
Felix is mad at Amid, but he understands that he can't help it. Nevertheless, he tries to convince Maria to give him another chance. Finally he confesses his suffering to his dental assistant. However, based on various scenes observed, she thinks that the love in question is a relationship with Amid, and not with a woman. She encourages him to go his own way, regardless of what society and those around him think about it. Then he calls Maria. She answers the phone, but Lucie rings the doorbell at the same time. She doesn't wait to talk to Lucie, but hangs up.
16 | Amid: One too many |
Amid has his date with Tasmin and tells her about Maria and that his friend Felix met her and that he fell in love with her. He then associated everything that was said with Maria and misunderstood all sentences accordingly. He calls her and texts her, but finds out that she has blocked him. Then he decides to do it like Felix: go to her to talk to her. She falsely lets him in and he sees Felix in her apartment. |
