Manuel Mairhofer
Manuel Mairhofer (born January 22, 1985 in Innsbruck ) is an Austrian actor .
Life
After graduating from high school , Manuel Mairhofer first studied German and philosophy at the University of Innsbruck . He was a swimmer in the Austrian junior squad, where he won the Tyrolean championship title. In 2002, he was in the talent show Starmania the ORF to be seen. In 2005 he took part in the television show shibuya . He was also on stage at the Tiroler Landestheater Innsbruck in Die Meistersinger von Nürnberg .
In 2008 he began studying acting at the drama school "Der Kreis" in Berlin, which he graduated in 2011. From 2008 to 2014 he also received individual coaching with Kristiane Kupfer at the Special Coaching Actors Studio, in 2015 with Jens Roth and in 2018 at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London . He received vocal training from Eleanor Forbes, Perrin Manzer Allen and Martin Senfter, among others. From 2010 engagements followed at the Neuköllner Oper , the State Theater Swabia and at the Tyrolean Volksschauspiele .
In 2013 Mairhofer was seen in a leading role in the ORF / ZDF crime series SOKO Donau . At the Carl Orff Festival Andechs he was seen in Leonce and Lena in the role of Leonce in 2014 . In the same year a tour followed with Sunset Boulevard in the role of Artie Green through Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Italy and Luxembourg.
In 2015 he embodied the soccer player Jupp Kapellmann in Uli Hoeneß - Der Patriarch . This was followed by appearances in an episode of SOKO Kitzbühel , in the ORF / Sat.1 television film Die Ketzerbraut , in the movie Freddy Eddy and in SOKO Munich . He played one of the leading roles in the Inga Lindström film adaptation of Das Haus am See . In 2018 he played alongside Martina Gedeck in the TNT series Arthur's Law and in the film adaptation of the Sebastian Fitzek novel Amokspiel (with Kai Schumann , Franziska Weisz , Eko Fresh ). Since 2019 he has played the role of Amid in the main cast of the Joyn (streaming provider) series Singles' Diaries .
In 2019 he was seen in the title role Peer Gynt at the Philharmonie Luxembourg .
