Sascha El Waraki
Sascha El Waraki (born July 29, 1974 in Essen ) is a German director , screenwriter and film producer .
Live and act
After graduating from the Geschwister Scholl Gymnasium in Velbert , Sascha El Waraki studied directing at the Art Academy for Media in Cologne . After graduating, he moved to Munich. As a director, he made commercials for international brands such as Mercedes-Benz, BMW and Lidl. In addition, as an editor, director and headwriter he was responsible for various TV formats for ProSieben , Sat1 , RTL and DMAX .
Sascha El Waraki founded the film production company ELWAFILM in 2018 with which he produces the series' Singles' Diaries' for the streaming portal Joyn . The Joyn Original, which started together with the platform on June 18, 2019, has already won several national and international awards. Among other things, Sascha El Waraki was honored by the 'New York Film Awards' for ' Singles' Diaries ' with the award for best director.
