Flemming is a German crime series by the author Gregor Edelmann , in which the psychologist Vince Flemming, played by Samuel Finzi , is a key supporter of police investigations. Like the US series Lie to Me (2009), the series draws on research by the American expression psychologist Paul Ekman , but also uses psychotherapeutic methods and new insights from interrogation psychology to clarify the cases. Whereby the serial hero Dr. Vince Flemming avowedly does not want to enlighten than cure: “I am a psychologist, not a police officer. What I see are entanglements, what interests me is healing, not punishment! ”A creed that permanently brings him into conflict with the police apparatus in which he works.

The main character is the police psychologist Vince Flemming, who, with the help of his skills, makes a decisive contribution to solving difficult criminal cases in Berlin. He supports his ex-wife Ann Gittel, who works for LKA 1. The place of action is the federal capital Berlin. Gittel is also supported by KHK Blum. The management of the LKA 1 is incumbent, in season 1 the chief criminal director Dr. Karl Leo and from season 2 the chief detective director Walli Hoven. With Walli Hoven, the secretary Mette Jumarowski, who at first doesn't get along with Flemming, also joins the team. With the beginning of season 3, the investigation team is supplemented by the police photographer Robert Anda.

Charisma

The pilot episode Shine in Your Eyes was broadcast on November 13, 2009 at 9:15 p.m. on ZDF . From March 18, 2011, the second season was broadcast. On February 14, 2012, filming began for the third season, the eight parts of which were shown from September 14, 2012 to November 9, 2012 on ZDF.

ZDF announced that there will be no fourth season.
