Christian Schiller

Christian Schiller (born April 28, 1974 in Halle ) is a German author and director for film and television as well as for radio (radio feature and radio play).

From 1992 onwards, Schiller studied theater, film and television studies and journalism at the Free University of Berlin (MA with Henning Rischbieter ), then acting directing at the Ernst Busch Academy of Dramatic Art (diploma). In 2003 he took part in the producer program of the dffb ( German Film and Television Academy Berlin ) and completed the trainee program at Sat.1 and ProSieben . In 2004 Schiller began working on radio plays and features for Radio Bremen , SWR and Deutschlandfunk Kultur .

In 2006 he founded the company SchillerWendt GbR with Marianne Wendt .

From 2013 to 2018, together with Marianne Wendt, he was headwriter of the ZDF series “ Last Trace Berlin ”. In addition to his television work, he wrote and staged around 20 radio plays and features together with Marianne Wendt, mostly on historical or political topics. He also develops multimedia, immersive room installations for the Berlin company Tamschick Media + Space. He is a partner in the publishing house of the authors and a member of the authors' initiative K18.
