Sven S. Poser (born January 27, 1963 in Palo Alto , Santa Clara County , California , USA ) is a German screenwriter .

Life

Sven Poser grew up in Bonn and moved to Berlin in 1985, where he studied German, history and politics. After graduating from college, he worked as a TV editor for the Berlin city magazine tip from 1992 to 2002 . In the early 1990s Poser was a co-owner of a small publishing house. He belonged to the Berlin group of authors "Das Labor", which published eight books between 1990 and 1997 and organized scenic readings.

Poser has been writing screenplays for cinema and television since 2000, but is also a journalist. With  Martin Eigler , Sönke Lars Neuwöhner and Jonas Winner he founded the label “plotpower” for the development of material and scripts. His most important television works include the crime series Solo für Schwarz (2003-2007), Stralsund (since 2009), Wolfsland (since 2016) and the miniseries Tomorrow I stop  with  Bastian Pastewka  and  Susanne Wolff  in the lead roles. In addition, from 2012 to 2013 he played a key role as an author and dramaturge in the development of the crime series Last Trace Berlin .

Poser lives with his family in Berlin.
