occupation

Nina Petersen : The detective, embodied by Katharina Wackernagel, is an energetic young woman whose pragmatic way of dealing with criminals benefits her work. Petersen has a strong will and keen mind and is characterized by the fact that she completely gets up in her cases. The young commissioner empathizes with the victims and sometimes crosses personal boundaries in the process.

Karl Hidde : The chief detective, played by Alexander Held, takes it calmly that he is constantly being overlooked when filling the executive position, but is too old to be ordered around by others. For him it is of central importance that his or her supervisor accepts and trusts him if he goes his own way. Although he has to wear a prosthetic leg as a result of a bomb attack while on duty, it is important to him to continue to work in the field.

Karim Uthmann : The detective depicted by Karim Günes has moved from the SEK to the Stralsund homicide squad. His Moroccan parents, both doctors, would have liked to see him in their footsteps. His decision to go to the police was met with incomprehension in the family. Uthmann avoids this topic as much as possible. The young police officer has mastered several martial arts and is an expert in weapons and warfare agents. His nature is characterized by happiness and a thirst for adventure.

Caroline Seibert : The chief detective, embodied by Therese Hämer, heads the Stralsund criminal investigation department after her predecessor Gregor Meyer was suspended from duty. She demands a lot from her team - but above all from Nina Petersen. Seibert is not easy to deal with personally, as she can suddenly switch from tough and extremely critical to empathic and constructive. The Commissioner is a woman who wants to climb the career ladder, but she is committed to clearing up the cases that are incumbent on her. Seibert does not live in a permanent partnership, if she wants something, she tries to get it.

Thomas Jung : The detective played by Johannes Zirner, like Uthmann, was with the SEK for many years before working as a security advisor in Afghanistan. After his return he became a consultant for special risk situations and made a name for himself as an explosives expert and interrogation specialist. Jung's style is characterized by restraint paired with a lot of competence, which makes the new beginning in Stralsund easier for him. Nina Petersen is impressed by his technical know-how, but also by the man himself. Only Karl Hidde remains skeptical and waiting.

Benjamin Lietz : The crime inspector Benjamin Lietz, played by Wotan Wilke Möhring, is Nina Petersen's partner. Lietz has a "gamer gene" and vacillates between courage and arrogance.

Head of department Gregor Meyer : The head of department played by Michael Rotschopf is very cold and doesn't praise the handicapped detective chief inspector Karl Hidde.
