Nike Martens
Nike Martens (born November 11, 1985 in Hamburg ) is a German actress .
Life
Growing up in Hamburg, Nike Martens attended high school there up to 11th grade. She graduated from high school in England. In 1999 and 2001 she gained her first acting experience in the ARD crime series Stahlnetz . This was followed by shooting for K3 - Kripo Hamburg as well as a guest role at the St. Pauli Theater in Hamburg. Nike Martens played the first continuous leading role in the crime series Zwei Profis , which was broadcast on ZDF in 2003 .
In 2002 she left her hometown Hamburg to attend the boarding school Hurtwood House south of London . However, she interrupted her training there at the beginning of 2003 and joined the main cast of the RTL series Unter Uns in the role of "Romy Sturm" until 2006 . After leaving Unter uns , she resumed her interrupted training at the Hurtwood House drama boarding school in 2006, while at the same time completing her high school diploma.
In 2009, Nike Martens shot her first film role in the film Black Death alongside Sean Bean . At the side of Antoine Monot, Jr. she took on one of the leading roles in the Kenya-produced film Where It Hurts. This was followed by further filming for the English cinema productions The Big Black with Delphine Chanéac and for Bridges , in which Nike Martens played the leading female role alongside David Gant.
Martens lives in Berlin .
Nike Martens has an older sister, Finja Martens , and a younger half-sister. Her father Thomas Martens is the founder of an insurance group. Sven Waasner is the husband of her sister Finja Martens.
