action
Through an international police exchange program, Chief Inspector Bernd Krallert from the Cologne Criminal Police receives a new partner in the person of Japanese Inspector Ushiro Sato. In the course of the first joint investigation, Krallert offers Sato, who is a complete stranger in Germany, to live with him and his family.
While Krallert's family overcomes their skepticism and Krallert himself befriended the idea of a German-Japanese team of investigators in his area, Sato becomes part of the family and deals with the culture that is foreign to him.
