Daniel Friedrich
Daniel Friedrich (* 1949 in Berlin ) is a German actor .
Life
Daniel Friedrich was born as the son of a chamber singer and a music teacher in Berlin and grew up in Tutzing on Lake Starnberg . In 1966 he founded a. a. with Michael Schanze his quarter deck combo . After graduating from high school, he received his acting training from 1970 to 1973 at the New Munich Drama School . After engagements at the Städtische Bühnen Bielefeld and the Städtische Bühnen Graz from 1973 to 1975 he moved to the Freie Volksbühne Berlin in 1975 and in 1976 to the State Theater on Gärtnerplatz in Munich . He played at the Bavarian State Theater , the Ulmer Theater , the Düsseldorfer Schauspielhaus , the Salzburg Festival , the Wiener Festwochen , the Schauspielhaus Zurich and the Residenztheater in Munich.
In the Bad Hersfeld Festival 2012, he has the role of Privy Councilor Behrens in The Magic Mountain by Thomas Mann adopted.
He became known to the German television audience through his leading role as "Tobias Sandmann" from 1995 to 1999 in the series Aus heiterem Himmel produced by Bavarian Radio . There he played alongside Michael Fitz and Jule Ronstedt . He was also seen in series such as The Happy Family , The Old One , Siska , A Case for Two , Polizeiruf 110 and For Heaven's Sake . From 2009 he appeared in the three episodes of the series Commissioner LaBréa as Roland Thibon, Commissioner LaBréa's superior.
Daniel Friedrich is married to Heidrun Gärtner and lives in Irschenhausen near Munich .
