Daniel Friedrich (born February 11, 1992 in Vienna ) is an Austrian basketball player. He is under contract with the Bundesliga club Swans Gmunden .
career
The Viennese made his Bundesliga debut in the shirt of the BC Basket Club of Vienna in his hometown. After one year at league rivals Traiskirchen and St. Pölten, he moved to Swans Gmunden in 2012 . Friedrich caused a stir in the 2019/20 season, which ended prematurely due to the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus : He was the eighth-best scorer in the league this season with 17.0 points per match and third-best passer with 6.1 assists / game .

Friedrich played for the Austrian U16, U18 and U20 national teams and then also for the senior national team.
