occupation

Helen Dorn is a crime film series by ZDF with Anna Loos in the role of Detective Inspector Helen Dorn, which has been produced since 2013 and broadcast as part of the ZDF Saturday thriller from 2014 .

action

Helen Dorn is the LKA commissioner and is involved in criminal cases that are particularly far-reaching. The investigation area extends from Düsseldorf over all of North Rhine-Westphalia. She is very straightforward in her way, which also determines her actions. Despite her inner turmoil, her job is also a vocation in which she solves cases with great persistence. In the first four episodes, her team includes Kriminalhauptkommissar Gregor Georgi, who initially has to deal with her involuntarily, but later works with her with a lot of respect and admiration. Both complement each other, as Helen Dorn relies on intuition, while Gregor Georgi always works rationally and is an ambitious analyst.

She has a tense relationship with her father, Richard Dorn, who was himself a chief detective. In the fifth episode, she learns from him that her mother only died so early of cancer because she refused chemotherapy. Because of her pregnancy, she did not want to endanger her unborn child. With this problem - possibly only to live because her mother had to die - the Commissioner is now struggling. In the tenth episode, her father falls into a coma after being robbed.
