Markus Imboden
Markus Imboden (born October 17, 1955 in Interlaken ) is a Swiss director and screenwriter .
Life
Markus Imboden learned the profession of electronics technician and then made up his Matura and studied German and history at the University of Zurich . He then became an assistant director at the Schauspielhaus Zürich and Schauspiel Köln . Since 1986 he has been a freelance film director and screenwriter as well as a member of the German Film Academy and lecturer for cinematic staging at the Zurich University of the Arts (ZHdK). From 2012 to 2018 he was head of the Master of Arts course in film at the Zurich University of the Arts .
Career
Markus Imboden became famous in 1996 with his movie Katzendiebe . His other movies were Moviestar , Blues, Black & White , Bingo (1990), Frau Rettich, die Czerni und Ich (1998), Komiker (2000), the remake of Heidi (2001) and Der Verdingbub (2011).
For television, Markus Imboden u. a.
