Hamburg detective award
The Hamburg Detective Prize in honor of Jürgen Roland or the Jürgen Roland Prize has been awarded annually since 2008 as part of the Studio Hamburg Young Talent Prize gala . The Senate of the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg donated the 10,000 euro prize in honor of the journalist, author and director Jürgen Roland, who died in 2007 . The award goes to directors for crime films that offer a new and unmistakable representation of the genre.
