Eoin Moore

Eoin Moore [ ˈoːɪn muːɹ ] (* 1968 in Dublin ) is a German film director of Irish descent.

Life

Eoin Moore moved to Berlin in 1988 , where he initially worked as a cameraman and sound engineer . He studied at the German Film and Television Academy in Berlin in the degree program director . Andreas Schmidt played the leading role in the first four of Moore's films , although his actor's name was slightly modified in the first three strips: Alex, Axel, Laxe.

Moore has been directing crime thrillers for the ARD series Polizeiruf 110 since 2005 , and since 2010 has designed the cases of the Rostock team Bukow and König as the main author . His concept envisages that the investigators' stories develop over and over again, i.e. have a horizontal narrative structure. He has since directed over 10 episodes. He wrote the scripts alone at first, but since 2015 together with Anika Wangard .

Moore was married to the director Elke Weber-Moore . Their children, Zoe Moore and Adrian Moore , work as actors.
