occupation

Commissioner Heller is a crime film series by ZDF with Lisa Wagner in the role of Commissioner Winnie Heller, which has been broadcast since 2014. The series is based on the Heller and Verhoeven novels by the author Silvia Roth. The shooting takes place in the Wiesbaden and Berlin area .

action

The 32-year-old detective commissioner Winnie Heller has been transferred from Cologne to Wiesbaden . Her sister is lying there in the clinic in a coma after a car accident caused by her father. That way, the Commissioner can look after them better. But she will soon have to cope with the death of her “little” sister. Although the first reactions in the coma showed at short notice, which gave rise to hope, she then suddenly dies of heart failure. Since then, Winnie Heller's relationship with her father has been irreconcilably disturbed. She tries to solve her family problems with therapeutic help. She and her mother take part in Dr. Jacobi part.

At first, Winnie Heller does not get along well with her new colleague Hendrik Verhoeven, who is 17 years her senior. Even if she graduated from police school with top marks in criminology and psychology, she is too brisk and stubborn for him. Otherwise she is motivated and determined and is considered a loner.

actor

The actor Hans-Jochen Wagner (Detective Chief Inspector Hendrik Verhoeven) left the series after eight episodes because he has taken on a role in the new Tatort team in Freiburg , successor to Blum and Perlmann . The Chief Inspector Verhoeven, represented by him, is transferred to Karlsruhe after seven joint cases with Heller and moves with his family. After his departure, however, Verhoeven appears alone and with his family in visions of Inspector Heller and at the end of the eighth film he also sits in person at Heller's sickbed. In the ninth episode, Lavinia Wilson appears for the first time as LKA officer Isabel Voigt as Heller's new partner.

Trivia

At some point in each episode, a piece of the title "Irresistible" by Stéphanie von Monaco can be heard as a running gag . The princess, who pursued a short but quite successful singing career in the 1980s, landed an international hit with the song, which was released in 1986, in both the French ("Ouragan") and the English version.
