Mathias Klaschka

Mathias Klaschka (born March 14, 1970 in Uelzen ) is a German screenwriter .

Life

After graduating from high school, Mathias Klaschka moved to Hamburg, where he studied American studies and theater studies. During this time he worked as an actor in the independent theater group "Stäitsch". Via the screenwriter and film director Karsten Laske he got a script assignment, which later became the film Apocalypse 99 - Anatomy of a gunman, directed by Dmitri Astrakhan . After he also wrote the script for Astrakhan's second feature film The Devil Who Called Himself God , Klaschka worked exclusively for German television, conceived TV series such as Mordkommission Istanbul , Lena Lorenz and Kommissarin Heller and wrote the scripts for novel adaptations such as Foam Kisses and Ein Sommer on Sylt .
