Querschläger is the third episode in the crime film series Kommissarin Heller with Lisa Wagner in the role of the investigator. It was first broadcast on January 10, 2015 on ZDF .

action

Shots are fired in a Wiesbaden high school. Two students and the principal are shot. The perpetrator is fleeting. The suspicion quickly falls on the problem student Nikolas Hrubesch, whose behavior was noticeable in the past and who was about to be expelled from school. Was he running amok to get revenge? For Commissioner Winnie Heller, who is entrusted with the case, the case is not so clear; she has doubts about Nikolas' perpetration and tries to reconstruct the course of events.

Since the crime happened at the grammar school, which Hendrik Verhoeven's daughter Nina also attended, this time the inspector was not only involved in the case professionally, but also privately. Winnie Heller is still struggling with the death of her sister, who died in the previous episode. She also has difficulty entering the cemetery. After she has overcome herself, she meets her mother again at her sister's grave.

When Nikolas Hrubesch was found shot some time later, the case gradually cleared up. It turns out that it was not a rampage at all, as initially suspected, but the deliberately planned act of the art teacher Sander Laurin. Laurin was very popular at the school and had an affair with a student who had put him under pressure because of an alleged pregnancy. He deliberately directed suspicion to Hrubesch, who painted pictures of rampages and was fascinated by reports about them. Laurin not only shot the girl in question, but also the principal, whom she had confided in, and another student, after he had previously shot Nikolas. He justified his actions with the fact that he could not let a schoolgirl destroy his family life.

background

The crime thriller describes the scenario of a rampage at a school. In addition, the subject of bullying plays an important role in the plot. The location for this was the Rheingau-Gymnasium in Berlin-Schöneberg. Otherwise the film was shot in Berlin and Wiesbaden. Ricochet was produced in 2014 by Ziegler Film GmbH & Co. KG (Berlin + Cologne).

criticism

Querschläger fits in well with the Kommissarin-Heller series, writes the Frankfurter Rundschau and emphasizes that the role of Hans-Jochen Wagner as Hendrik Verhoeven will be more in focus this time. His little daughter becomes a victim of Internet bullying and is also a student at the Wiesbaden high school.

TV critic Rainer Tittelbach believes that the gripping opening scenario as well as the actors' private background stories and a lot of drama make Querschläger the best episode of the crime series Kommissarin Heller to date .
