Daniela Holtz

Daniela Holtz (* 1977 in Stuttgart ) is a German actress .

Life

Daniela Holtz was born in the Bad Cannstatt district of Stuttgart and grew up in Algeria, Bremen and Bavaria, among others. After graduating from high school, she first worked as a journalist, then from 1999 to 2003 she studied acting at the Ernst-Busch University of Applied Sciences in Berlin. Theater engagements in Leipzig and Berlin followed. For the big screen she shot a. a. with the directors Maren Ade and Marcus H. Rosenmüller ; on TV she was in various series, e.g. B. Stolberg , Großstadtrevier , SOKO Wismar , SOKO Cologne , Tatort or KDD - Criminal Permanent Service. In the British television series Victoria she played the Baroness Louise Lehzen , the governess, educator and later companion of the British Queen Victoria .

Daniela Holtz also worked as a coach for acting and directing and as a lecturer at the Ernst Busch University of Applied Sciences, and in 2008/2009 she completed an apprenticeship as a screenwriter at the Hamburg Berlin School of Authors. Since 2017 she has been a professor of practical theater work at the Folkwang University of the Arts .
