Andreas Arnstedt

Andreas Arnstedt (born August 31, 1969 in Gera ) is a German actor , screenwriter , producer and director .

Life

Arnstedt completed an acting training at the HFF Konrad Wolf in Potsdam-Babelsberg and at the Theaterverein 1990 Berlin. He was seen in various television and theater productions and demonstrated his comedic skills for a long time on the stages of the Kleine Komödie at Max II in Munich and the Komödie am Dom in Cologne . He grew up in Dornburg / Saale .

He gained greater fame in his role as “Lukas Heitz” in the daily soap “ Gute Zeiten, Bad Zeiten ” and as a medic “Kai Norge” in “ Coast Guard ”.

In 2006 he made his first appearance as a writer and director: on the stage of the Hebbel am Ufer theater in Berlin , he staged Mathieu Carrière in a staged reading of the play “Der Kanzler” or “Die Göring Collection”.

From 2008 to 2009 he made his first feature film as a director , screenwriter and producer . “Die Abbehrlichen” started on September 30, 2010 in Germany. For this film he was named Best Director at the São Paulo International Film Festival . In 2014 he worked for the drama film The Cuckoo and the Donkey, a second time as a director and screenwriter. After his debut film as director "Die Entbehrlichen", the satire The Cuckoo and the Donkey followed four years later . 2016 Drama followed death rates (international title: Short Term Memory Loss ), with Veronica Ferres and Oliver Stokowski in the lead roles, and in 2017 the based on a true story tragicomedy full moon and the refugee crisis in Europe apprehending black comedy We can do even .

Arnstedt is a trained cabinet maker. He grew up in Dornburg / Saale and attended the Dorndorf-Steudnitz state school . He served in the National People's Army (NVA) from May 1989 until his dishonorable discharge in December 1989 .
