Die Sitte is a German television series that was broadcast from 2001 to 2006. It shows the work of KK 12 (Kriminalkommissariat 12, Sexual Offenses Department ) of the Cologne Criminal Police . The series was developed and produced by the Cologne-based film and television production company filmpool for RTL . Thomas Eckelkamp was the executive producer.

action

The series always begins with a shot of the victim of a sex crime, who in almost all cases did not survive, with a kind of music box melody playing in the background. This is followed by a look back at the last hours in the victim's life , and after the opening credits, the customs officials take action. In the course of the investigation, flashbacks are repeatedly shown in black and white.
