Dirk Heinrichs

Dirk Heinrichs (born March 14, 1965 in Leverkusen ) is a German actor , author and active in violence prevention. As an actor he was best known for the RTL series Die Sitte (2001-2004), which was nominated for the Grimme Prize . He is the founder of "Language Against Violence."

Commitment to violence

Dirk Heinrichs works at schools, companies, prisons and social hot spots, among other things. In 2008 his book Da I've only seen red was published . It is based on interviews with victims and perpetrators and tries to shed light on the origins of violence in our society. Dirk Heinrichs is on the scientific advisory board of the Alliance against Cybermobbing eV He is also active in the rescue service.
