use

Diclocymet is used as a fungicide . It was developed by Sumitomo Chemical , approved in Japan in April 2000 and used against the rice blight fungus . The effect is based on the inhibition of dehydratase during melanin biosynthesis in the cell walls of the fungi.

In Germany, Austria and Switzerland, no pesticides with this active ingredient are permitted.
