Christian Schmidt (actor, 1970)

Christian Schmidt (born May 13, 1970 in Halle an der Saale ) is a German actor.

Schmidt, son of the actor Carlo Schmidt, studied from 1990 to 1994 at the Ernst Busch Academy of Dramatic Arts in Berlin . After completing his acting training, Schmidt got an engagement at the Hans Otto Theater Potsdam . This was followed by other theater engagements at the Hebbel Theater Berlin, the Schaubühne am Lehniner Platz , the Deutsches Theater Berlin , the Bad Hersfeld Festival , the Theater am Goetheplatz in Bremen and the Mainfranken Theater in Würzburg . He became known to a wide audience through guest roles in series such as Balko , SK-Babies or For all cases Stefanie . From 2001 to 2006 he played the role of the doctor Moritz Roßwein in the ZDF series Der Landarzt .
