Joern Hinkel (born September 22, 1970 in Berlin ) is a German director , director and actor .

Life

Hinkel studied opera and theater directing with August Everding at the Bavarian Theater Academy , he staged numerous operas and plays, but also short and documentary films.

In 1995 he became a lecturer in acting at the Bavarian Theater Academy, in the same year he staged Leonce and Lena at the Munich Prinzregententheater. He has worked with director Dieter Wedel since 2000, working as assistant director for the ZDF multi-part Die Affäre Semmeling , the two-part Papa and Mama , the film My old friend Fritz and the ARD two-part Gier . He also supported director Dieter Wedel with the books , the selection of actors and the productions during the Nibelungen Festival and the Bad Hersfeld Festival .
