Max Schimmelpfennig (* 1996 in Berlin ) is a German actor .

Life

Max Schimmelpfennig played theater as a teenager. In 2013 he appeared at the Departure Theater Berlin in the play Anne and Sophie (directed by Anne Rebekka Düsterhöft). Since 2016 he has been studying acting at the Berlin University of the Arts .

Schimmelpfenning made his television debut on MDR - Tatort: ​​The Mole (first broadcast: December 2014), in which he played Jürgen Konczak, the suspect's son. In the television film Kommissarin Heller: Querschläger (first broadcast: January 2015), the third film in the ZDF crime film series Kommissarin Heller with Lisa Wagner in the role of investigator Winnie Heller, he played the musically gifted student Sven, a victim of bullying who turned into a blackmailer and rapist becomes.

In the fairytale film The Swineherd (first broadcast: Christmas 2017), Schimmelpfennig played a supporting role as the rich and arrogant Prince Ferdinand von Wasserfelde. In the TV series Das Boot (2018), he played the deep oarsman Willy in a continuous role. In the early evening series WaPo Berlin , which was newly placed on Das Erste from January 2020 , Schimmelpfenning took on a leading role in the episode as the nephew of the chairman of a sailing club ( Torsten Münchow ), who, together with his uncle, is responsible for the death of a Bulgarian illegal worker.
