Michelle Barthel (born July 30, 1993 in Remscheid ) is a German actress .

Life

Michelle Barthel grew up in Nottuln-Schapdetten and attended the girls' high school Marienschule in Münster, where she graduated from high school in 2012 . There she also played in the theater group. She gained her first acting experience in the theater group Bühnenecho in Nottuln-Schapdetten.

Her first major role was that of Franzi in Jörg Grünler's film Der Zehnte Sommer from 2003. In 2009 she played the leading role alongside Max Hegewald in the social drama No Fear by director Aelrun Goette . The film was awarded the Golden Gong in 2010 . In 2011 he received the Grimme Prize , and Barthel himself was also a prize winner. For her portrayal, Michelle Barthel also received the FIPA D'OR, the award for "Best International Actress" at the 2010 International Television Festival in Biarritz , the German Television Prize 2010 and the Marl Television Prize for Human Rights. In September 2009 she shot the Cologne crime scene episode Narrow Shoulders , which was broadcast in September 2010. In January 2011, she was seen in the Ludwigshafen crime scene fatal investigations , in February 2011 in the Hamburg crime scene Leben gegen Leben , in March 2012 in the Münster crime scene Hinkebein and in November 2018 in the hunt scene .

She plays guitar and electric bass in the band Vorlaut . She is an active choir singer and has been dancing ballet since she was four . Barthel now lives in Berlin .
