Max Hegewald

Max Hegewald (born August 20, 1991 in Berlin ) is a German actor and director .

Live and act

In 2005 and 2006 Hegewald took acting lessons from Gabriela Zorn. Between 2005 and 2007 he worked in the P14 youth theater group at the Volksbühne Berlin . In 2008 he made his television debut in the episode Der Fall des Jochen B. in the television series Rosa Roth . In the same year he took part in the play The School of Dumbs , which won an award at the Hundred Grad Festival in Berlin. In 2009 he played in Aelrun Goette with the Grimme Award winning social drama No fear on the side of Michelle Barthel and Carolyn Genzkow the lead role. In June 2010 he worked alongside Benno Fürmann in Jan Ruzicka's TV film Der Mauerschützen . For this he was nominated for the New Faces Award as best young actor in 2012 . In February 2011 he received the Lilli Palmer & Curd Jürgens memory camera as the best young actor at the Golden Camera award . Since 2013 he studied at the film university Babelsberg Konrad Wolf the tray dramaturgy .

Hegewald works mainly in Berlin. There, in 2008, the low-budget feature film Goldfish Don't Fly was made as part of a youth film group , for which Hegewald wrote and directed the script .

In 2011 he shot the silent film Galileos Monde with the German- Catalan film student Quimu Casalprim i Suárez , which premiered in April 2012 at the 9th Festival du Cinéma de Brive.
