Golden Camera 2011

The awarding of the Golden Camera 2011 took place on February 5, 2011 in the Ullstein-Halle in the publishing house of Axel Springer AG in Berlin . It was the 46th award of this award. The audience was welcomed by Andreas Wiele (Board Member for International Magazines, Axel Springer AG). For the second time in a row, Hape Kerkeling took over the moderation . About 1000 guests took part in the event. The ceremony was at 20:15 live on ZDF transmitted. The readers chose their favorites in the category The best crime team . The jury consisted of Barbara Auer , Heinrich Breloer , Oliver Kalkofe , Marietta Slomka and Michael Souvignier as well as the members of the Hörzu editorial team Christian Hellmann (editor-in-chief), Julia Brinckman (deputy editor-in-chief) and Angela Meyer-Barg ( editor -in- chief).

The 2011 Golden Camera was awarded in 14 categories. The film producer Bernd Eichinger , who died on January 24, 2011, was posthumously honored with a special award as best producer, the presenter and journalist Monica Lierhaus with an honorary award. For Lierhaus it was the first public appearance since her serious illness in January 2009. During her acceptance speech, she made a marriage proposal to her long-term partner Rolf Hellgardt, which he accepted.

Musical performances

Lena Meyer-Landrut performed an a cappella version of the song Satellite (arrangement: Marcus Merkel) together with the gropies berlin choir . Hape Kerkeling previously parodied the song in Russian and Swiss German . Gloria Gaynor first sang I Will Survive and then in a duet with Hape Kerkeling the song I Am What I Am . Eros Ramazzotti performed a medley consisting of the songs Non possiamo chiudere gli occhi, Cose della vita and Piu bella cosa .
