Dorothea Schenck (born September 25, 1971 in East Berlin ) is a German actress .

Life

After a private acting training in the theater studio Friedrichstrasse in Berlin , Dorothea Schenck got some engagements at smaller stages. She became known in 1993 in a supporting role in the previous evening series Happy Holiday , followed by appearances in For all cases Stefanie , Der Fahnder and Mona M. - With the weapons of a woman .

After her role as Commissioner Sophie Steeger in The Handwriting of the Murderer , another leading role followed in the Edgar Wallace crime thriller The Four Righteous .

Dorothea Schenck became known to a larger audience through her leading role in the crime series Großstadtrevier , in which she investigated Anna Bergmann with Jan Fedder as a police officer . She played this role from 1999 to 2003, then left the series due to pregnancy, but came back to the team in 2009 for Anja Nejarri and again played three seasons and 37 episodes before leaving the series again in late 2011. Since 2015 Schenck can be seen in the television series Rote Rosen as Simone Falkenstein .

Schenck is also a spokesperson for various television magazines, including Grip - the motor magazine and Galileo .

Dorothea Schenck is married and has three children.
