Happy Holiday is a German family series from the early 1990s that ran in 26 episodes on First German Television and was first broadcast in 1993 and 1994.

Season 1 (episodes 1 to 13)

The focus is on a story about the Greek island of Kos and the holiday club boss Tizia, played by Silvia Reize . Tizia has her team, which includes the animator Giancarlo, the sports teacher Toni, Tizia's daughter Babs and Sylvia, the lady at the reception, firmly under control. In the club village, she offers guests a wide range of sports and entertainment - nobody is left alone, and even Tizia finds a good friend in Fischer Nikos.

Season 2 (episodes 14 to 26)

In the second season the place changes to Mallorca , where club boss Markus runs the "Happy Holiday Club". Only in the administrative area does he not know his way around, but his partner and assistant Vicky takes care of that. Markus sometimes has different ideas about the future and that's why Vicky is more interested in the sculptor Henrik, who lives in her “dream house” near the club complex. However, Markus does not want to give up Vicky.

CD and DVD publications

In 1992 a music CD (Polydor 517 739-2) with the soundtracks for the series was released.

The season 1 episodes were released on August 7, 2015 in a complete DVD box from Pidax. A complete box with the episodes of season 2 followed on October 2, 2015. Both boxes contain three DVDs each.
