Silvia Reize
Silvia Reize (born October 1, 1948 in Bern , † June 19, 2012 in Basel ) was a Swiss actress .
Life

After graduating from high school, she graduated from the Zurich Acting Academy . In Zurich she also got her first engagement at the Theater am Neumarkt . In 1971/72 she played at the Baden-Baden Theater . From 1972 to 1974 she was part of the ensemble of the Stadttheater Basel . Guest performances have taken her to the stages of the city of Bonn , to the Landesbühne Hannover , the Rheinisches Landestheater in Neuss , to the Stadttheater Basel , the Stadttheater Konstanz and the Jagsthausen Castle Festival . She also appeared on tours.
She got her first film role in 1972 at the side of Hansi Kraus in the typical music comedy My daughter - your daughter . She was first seen on television in 1974 when she took over the title character of the Hedwig Courths-Mahler film adaptation of The Begging Princess . She then starred in various cinema and television films, in particular in the crime series Ein Fall für Zwei . In the family series Die Aubergers she was part of the regular cast as Susanne Auberger.
Her sister Dorothée Reize is also an actress. Silvia Reize was married to the Basel sports journalist and media entrepreneur Hans-Ruedi Ledermann († 2004) and had a son. Silvia Reize died on June 19, 2012 due to a fall in the hospital.
