Michael Roll (born April 29, 1961 in Munich ) is a German voice actor , theater and television actor .

Life

Michael Roll comes from a film family: his father is the cameraman and Grimme Prize winner Gernot Roll .

Roll dubbed films during his school days. Roll later took singing and acting lessons and in 1982 got the first film role in a trial of strength with Hannelore Hoger ; since 1983 he has been one of the busiest actors on German television.

Michael Roll became known throughout Germany as the young detective assistant Axel Huebner at the side of Günter Strack in the 32-part television series Der König .

1987 began his career in the theater. Among other things, he went on tour with the plays Death of a Salesman and Andorra , and he also played at the Luisenburg Festival in Wunsiedel .

He had guest appearances in, among others, Café Perjury , Liebling Kreuzberg , Siska , Der Alte , Der Fahnder , Derrick , Tatort , Ein Fall für Zwei , Polizeiruf 110 , Der Bulle von Tölz , Die Happy Familie and SOKO 5113 .

Michael Roll has three children from his first marriage; since 2016 he has been married to Claudia Heiss for the second time. He is involved in the Tabaluga Foundation for traumatized children under the patronage of Peter Maffay .

Other interests

Michael Roll has a professional helicopter pilot's license , has been playing golf since he was 20 , is a certified ski instructor and plays the guitar .
