action

Shortly before departure, fellow traveler Angela Winter received a message from her friend Albrecht that he would not take part in the trip and that he had passed it on to his son Florian. At first she is disappointed and angry, but in Singapore it turns out that she and Florian won the game.

Ten-year-old Thomas is on a world tour with his hard-of-hearing grandmother Eugenie. He always manages to keep the co-pilot Rolf, who is supposed to look after him, in suspense.

On Borneo, Captain Viktor Nemetz visits an old friend and colleague, the opaque soldier of fortune Jeff Pollak. During the visit, Viktor is kidnapped and taken hostage by local gold miners. Only when Pollak has paid his debts will Viktor be released. Viktor Nemetz manages to escape his kidnappers, but he misses the onward flight. To the disappointment of co-pilot Rolf Erhardt, who himself had flirted with the position of chief pilot, a replacement is flown in for Viktor, the flight captain Lars Breklund.
