Gabriele had hoped to receive an application from her friend Jürgen during the trip. To encourage him, she has hidden another man's love letter in her handbag and is now cleverly making sure that Jürgen finds the letter. The letter was written by the tour guide Andreas, who does everything possible to help Gabriele make her boyfriend jealous.

Captain Nemetz runs into the thieving Polly while walking through Venice. She has just stolen a valuable trophy from an apartment and is now on the run from the police. Unfortunately, Viktor believes her protests of innocence, helps her escape and soon gets into trouble himself.
