Happy Journey - Namibia is a German TV film by Stefan Bartmann . The 17th part of the television series Happy Journey was produced in January and February 1993 in Windhoek and Swakopmund , on the Erongo Mountains and in the Namib in Namibia . The film premiered on November 25, 1993 on ProSieben .

The aircraft crew consists of Captain Viktor Nemetz ( Juraj Kukura ), his co-pilot Rolf Erhardt ( Volker Brandt ) and the stewardesses Sabine Möhl ( Alexa Wiegandt ), Alexandra Peters ( Claudine Wilde ) and Eva Fabian ( Sandra Krolik ). The tour guides Sylvia Baretti and Andreas von Romberg are given by Conny Glogger and Thomas Fritsch . Guest actors include Michaela May , Christian Kohlund , Janette Rauch , Peter Hofmann , Günther Kaufmann , Mady Rahl and Martin Halm .

Rolf Erhardt goes on a safari with the beautiful and rich Vivian Goldberg . Vivian desperately wants to get a hunting trophy . Inadvertently they do not end up in the assigned hunting ground, but on the farm area of the animal rights activist and eccentric Lance Lorenson. This gradually succeeds in dissuading Vivien from her hunting intentions.

The vacationers Lisa Schubert and Rüdiger Belheim are planning a future together. Misha, Lisa's son, knows nothing of these intentions. All attempts by Rüdiger to establish a friendly relationship with Mischa are found annoying by Mischa and brusquely rejected. That only changes when Rüdiger, who is a rescue pilot by profession, takes him on a mission in the desert in a helicopter.

The tour guides Sylvia and Andreas and the stewardesses Sabine, Alexandra and Eva each go on a safari trip through the Namib. It's not a particularly successful venture for either group. Sylvia and Rolf suffer a flat tire and have to set off on foot, the stewardesses get caught by a strange farmer collecting beetles, who thinks the three women are thieves and arrests them.
